Glen Hicks | Aurora Division Manager
Glen Hicks is division manager of Huen Electric’s Aurora, Ill., division. His key responsibilities include managing overall operations, managing new project cost estimating, developing new business, and strategic planning.
Mr. Hicks joined Huen in 2007. He has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, specializing in commercial and institutional projects throughout the Chicago area.
Several of Mr. Hicks’ most notable accomplishments include evaluating and implementing new estimating software, developing and implementing task codes for accounting to track labor efficiency, and coaching and developing Huen team members.
He has completed courses in applied sciences and business management at Morraine Valley Community College, Palos Hills, Ill. In addition, Mr. Hicks served a 4-year apprenticeship in Local 134 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He also has studied project productivity and marketing with FMI Management Consulting and construction law with National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
Mr. Hicks also served as an accredited representative with NECA and as the DuPage Division chairman of the Northeastern Chapter of NECA.
