Daniel R. Pesavento, PE | Chief Operating Officer
Daniel R. Pesavento is chief operating officer of Huen Electric. His key responsibilities include executive management of Huen’s Aurora, Ill., location and the Huen Healthcare Group, managing the design and engineering process for design/build projects, and developing new business opportunities.
Mr. Pesavento joined Huen in 1990 while pursuing his electrical engineering degree. He advanced to branch manager of Huen’s Aurora office in 2000 and was promoted to vice president in 2001. He continued pursuing increasingly more complex, high-profile projects and was appointed to his current role as chief operating officer in 2008.
Several of Mr. Pesavento’s most notable accomplishments include building a core team of employees in Huen’s Aurora location and significantly growing the Aurora operation’s market share. In addition, he led a team initiative to implement regular customer surveys after each project’s completion.
He earned both a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind. In addition, Mr. Pesavento is ASHE certified and has completed several courses on Chicago’s electrical code and the national electrical code from The Electric Association, and courses in construction safety and construction law from the National Electrical Contractors Association Management Institute.
