Description: Huen managed the installation of all electrical systems for the new five-story wing of Lake Forest Hospital, dedicated to obstetrics, mammography and childbearing education. The scope of work included lighting, power, fire alarm system, nurse call system and diagnostic equipment connections.
Huen also furnished and installed a new campus wide fire alarm system including all devices, monitoring, and intercom and head end equipment. Our work also included installing lighting, power, fire alarm, nurse call system and diagnostic equipment connections in other areas of the facility.
In addition, we completed an upgrade of the emergency generation backup system for the main hospital.
Electrical Systems:
- Emergency generator replacement – removal and replacement of two 1,000 kW generators
- Design/build for connection of new emergency switchboard and selected projects configuration of multiple automatic transfer switches.
- Huen continues to provide maintenance, remodeling and electrical construction service throughout the hospital complex.
