Description: Huen managed design and installation of all electrical systems for a new 102,000-square-foot, 99-bed tower addition. Our work included renovating the operating room suites and installing emergency and critical power systems, power distribution equipment, low voltage life safety systems wiring and all associated lighting and power. In addition, we helped with an 80,000-square-foot remodel, including a pediatric acute care unit, surgical recovery area, additional catheterization labs and a new cystoscopy operating room.
Electrical Systems:
- A new 15kV electrical service
- (2) 1,500 KW generators with associated paralleling gear
- Low voltage systems included tele/data, nurse call, paging MATV and fire alarm
- Renovated and remodeled the 38 bed PACU and Stage II recovery units in phases to provide continuous operation of that area of the hospital.
- Installed and coordinated one Toshiba Hybrid catheterization lab and two Siemens catheterization labs including empty conduit systems for vendor provided equipment.
- Installed and coordinated the GE Cysto operating room which included temporarily tying in the service to the equipment to facilitate the relocation of the equipment.
- Installed the power and lighting for a full service servery that provides food service for the entire hospital.
