Description: Huen managed the installation of all electrical systems for this 450,000 sq ft, 16-story addition to the existing hospital in Grand Junction, CO. The tie-in of the new tower to the existing hospital was very complex encompassing 5 floors of renovation as well as changes to the operating facility and multiple coordinated relocates. Over 60,000 sq. ft were remodeled with 15 phases of “Selective Demolition.” Procedures were written, reviewed and approved on a daily basis which included daily interaction with senior management of the hospital. Infection Control procedures were intense.
Electrical Systems:
- Installation of (3) 15kV new substations to distribute emergency, normal and isolated power systems.
- Lutron Quantum lighting control system Dimming capability from one computer.
- Square D Power Logic Power monitoring system that will let you monitor your panels and the power output.
- Infrared Camera testing on all panels installed.
