Description: Huen managed the electrical installation for this new 260,000 sq. ft. bed tower addition to existing facility. The new bed tower has 8 floors and 260 beds to provide care to over 95,000 veterans each year on northern Ohio. Scope of work included power, lighting, fire alarm, site lighting, nurse call, PA system, temperature control, CCTV, cable TV, MATV and tele-data.
Electrical Systems:
- Installation of (2) 1200 amp, 12kV utility service entrance metal clad switchgear featuring an electronically operated “main-tie-main” transfer scheme and 3000 AMP distribution Section.
- Extension of 3000AMP distribution from existing source for EM/Life Safety and critical loads including all automatic transfer switches.
- Furnishing and installation of low voltage systems including Fire Alarm, Door Security, CCTV, MATV, Voice/Data, Paging, Video Intercom, and the installation of the Nurse Call system.
- Eaton Power monitoring system that will let you monitor your panels and the power output.
