1.7 Megawatt Solar System

Description: Huen installed and provided design-assist service for a 1.7 MEG photovoltaic system on the roof of a 450,000 sq. ft warehouse owned by STS Tire. The system is subdivided into two separate systems. One system for the new warehouse and one for the existing warehouse. System 1 has an array of 3,104 Mitsubishi panels with modules installed on a pan and ballast system. The installation is unique in the sense that we supplied power for two buildings from roof. The infrastructure was put in place by the engineers when the new warehouse was designed.
Electrical Systems:
- 5899 panels at 260 watts were mounted to the roof.
- 1,500 kVA distribution system with utility tie back was installed.
