STEVE C. MAYTON Vice President/Special Projects

As vice president of special projects, Mr. Mayton manages a staff of estimators and designers responsible for all proposal and bid preparation activities required in the design and construction of commercial, industrial, specialty and healthcare projects. He also directs the estimating process for design-build projects and is actively involved in new business acquisition. Additionally, Steve supervises the training and development of estimators and project managers.

Mr. Mayton, a 20-year veteran of the electrical construction industry, joined Huen in 1996 as chief estimator and was promoted to vice president in 2000.

Among the projects Steve has negotiated are the construction of Trump International Hotel and Tower, Waterview Tower, ABN Amro, Soldier Field, Sherman Plaza, One South Dearborn, Millennium Park Garage, Music & Dance Theater Chicago, 55 East Erie, Cook County Hospital, Fordham Tower, and Northwestern University Center for Nanofabrication and Molecular Self-Assembly. Other notable projects include Equinix, Inc., Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier, Children’s Memorial Hospital, the Museum of Science and Industry, and Ford Center for the Performing Arts/Oriental Theater.
