From elaborate life-safety systems in high-rise offices to tenant build-outs involving thousands of workstations, Huen tackles the most complex and demanding work. Our specialists meet current and proposed TIA and BISCI requirements and test our customers' data systems to meet these standards.

Trump International Hotel and Tower Soon-to-be-notable skyscraper designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the 90-story concrete cast-in-place building is being constructed at 401 North Wabash on the north side of the river front. This project includes ten floors of parking, health club and spa, a grand ballroom and two levels of banquet rooms, eleven floors of five-star hotel rooms, and twenty levels of luxury condominiums. Huen is responsible for the lighting and power distribution, fire alarm system, and hotel buildout.

1720 South Michigan 34-story condo building with a first floor retail area and a seven level parking garage. Huen assisted in the re-design of the distribution system and overall electrical systems that brought the project within budget. Cast-in-place exposed concrete finishes and restricted space add to the challenges of providing a high level of workmanship for these clients.

Waterview Tower & Shangri-La Hotel 90-story mixed-use high rise in downtown Chicago. When complete, it will be the fifth tallest building in the city at 1,050 feet.

One Museum Park East Elegant new 60-story high-rise in Chicago’s south loop. Huen again acted in a design-assist role to help this project maintain its budget. In addition to condominiums with many upgrades, this project includes a multi-story parking structure and outdoor pool.

MoMo 33-story mixed use development in the heart of the loop includes a three-story performance studio for the Joffrey Ballet, a multi-story department store, and 230 condominium units.

ONE SOUTH DEARBORN is a new 40-story high-rise office building located at the corner of Madison & Dearborn in Chicago's central business district. Major tenants, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP will occupy 500,000 of the building's 820,000 square feet. Huen will provide multiple tenant services, security systems, fire alarm and core building electric power and lighting. Special custom lighting for the lobby and exterior of this beautiful building will make it a unique and a most desirable addition to the Chicago skyline.

ABN AMRO PLAZA This triangular futuristic bank processing center and office tower has 2.5 million square feet of office space, and will house their high tech administrative functions. Installation includes all core power, lighting and special systems, which include life safety, critical and normal power backed up by four large UPS Systems which has 2,000 kw 12.5 Kv generators and an emergency life safety system backed up by (1) 2,000 kw generator.

ABN AMRO/LaSALLE BANK DATA CENTER The 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of ABN Amro Plaza cover 150,000 square feet. Huen supplied power, lighting, electrical systems and tenant build-out of these floors. Huen also installed 62 power management modules that provide “clean” power to the server racks within the Data Center. The power to this facility is provided from generator and UPS sources.

GOLDMAN SACHS Goldman Sachs is a worldwide and premier investment banking firm with headquarters in New York City.  They will occupy three floors of this new, state-of-the-art technological building being built for the Hyatt Corporation. 
Huen installed an extensive redundant power system to feed Goldman Sachs’ critical computer operation that services the financial markets around the world.  Two 480-volt, 3-phase, 4,000-amp draw-out switchboards will be installed to feed mechanical, lighting, power and special systems.  Huen will also install (2) 480-volt, 555 kVA UPS systems, batteries, a user interfaced mimic control panel to monitor the entire distribution system point by point and a fire alarm system.
