Bolingbrook High School

Government agencies, cultural institutions, school districts and colleges turn to Huen for their electrical construction needs.

The Clare 50-story 730,000 square foot senior residence run by the Franciscan Brothers. The building includes skilled nursing units, three levels of assisted living units, 35 levels of independent living residences, and six levels of parking. Huen is installing all of the systems wiring and raceways, all of the low voltage work, as well as the interior build-out of the independent living units, which include floors 21 through 52.

The Landing at Plymouth Place Half million square foot, eight-story senior residence in LaGrange Park. This design-build project includes catered living, 184 independent living apartments, 60 assisted living units, 86 skilled nursing units, 36 memory support units, and 56 cottages, for a total of 424 dwellings. Parking will accommodate 130 underground and 200 above ground. The building includes recreational areas and full service cooking facilities.

LITTLE VILLAGE HIGH SCHOOL is the newest and largest high school project currently under construction in Chicago. The 280,000 square foot high school will provide the Pilsen neighborhood with a state-of-the art educational facility. Included in the plans for this new school are over (70) classrooms and science labs, (2) interior courtyards, (2) gymnasiums, a fitness room and dance studio and a swimming pool. Huen Electric will also be providing a full theatrical lighting and dimming system for auditorium/theater. Huen Electric will also provide state-of-the-art fire alarm and life safety, voice/data, audio/visual and classroom intercommunication systems. The (71) classrooms, science labs and resource center will be equipped with a wireless LAN system to link the entire facility and provide internet access to the students.

Du Page County Judicial Office Facility Annex Huen provided high voltage power distribution systems, build-out of open office space and infrastructure to accommodate low voltage communication wiring.

ST. VINCENT DePaul CENTER Huen provided design/build and complete electrical for the Daughters of Charity. This 144,000 square foot state-of-the-art child center in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is three stories tall and includes an underground parking garage.

DUPAGE COUNTY enlisted Huen to provide power, lighting and electrical systems, and a new state-of-the-art security system for a 471-bed addition to the existing jail. Huen also installed power, lighting and special systems for a 250,000 square-foot addition to the DuPage Convalescent Center, a 508-bed skilled nursing facility.
