Mike is Huen Electric’s founder and assists in overseeing strategic planning, customer satisfaction, and business development.

He founded Huen Electric in 1983 and built the company into one of the largest electrical contracting firms in the Chicago area. With initiative and foresight, Mike expanded the company to several locations in Illinois with additional offices in New York and New Jersey.

Mike is active in many industry and community organizations, including the Electrical Commission for the City of Oak Brook, and IBEW Local No. 134. Previously he served as vice president of the board of ACE Tech Charter High School, which teaches and trains inner city youths about the construction industry in the areas of architecture, engineering and construction trades. He served as board president for the Chicago Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, was an Advisory Council member for Misericordia/Heart of Mercy Home, and a board member for Lewis University
