The Aircraft Gate Electrification project required an aggressive 60-day schedule while working around daily airport activities and conforming to FAA and Homeland Security requirements. Huen expanded the main electric room in the parking garage to accommodate two new 15/2 HV switches that feed two new pad mount transformers, which then feed four new electrical rooms. This green initiative allows the planes to be cooled, heated and powered without running their engines.
