In his role as president of Huen Electric, Steve heads new business development, preconstruction and strategic planning. His teams focus on the creation of project estimates and bid proposals for all services, including design-build and special projects. They work together to train and develop new planners, estimators and project managers.

As the director of preconstruction, including head of Huen’s BIM operations, Steve seeks opportunities to control costs, improve the electrical system design, and achieve a more efficient installation for every assignment.

Beginning his career in the electrical construction industry as Huen’s first estimator/project manager, Steve quickly advanced to chief estimator and then vice president, special projects. He has served as Huen’s president since 2008. Steve’s degree is in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Chicago Chapter, and the Chicago Building Congress.
